Which DNA test?

I'm of mixed race origin and family comes from Trinidad. Would a dna test show which part of Africa my ancestors came from? Any idea which genealogy dna test would be best in the circumstances?

The ethnicity/location aspect of DNA testing is not entirely reliable. A rough guide to probability rather than a definitive answer.

If you want to give it a go, the Ancestry test can be uploaded to other sites - but not vice versa.
