Help searching for a death

I'm trying to find out if a relative of mine is still alive. His name is Bernard Eric Rosher born in 1930 in Ipswich, Suffolk. He spent quite a bit of time living in Goa and we believe he may have died there fairly recently but it's possible that he's still alive. Can anybody point me in the right direction to find this out please?

Bernard Rosher was my Godfather. His last address was Sterling Heights Goa India. But I did not know his flat number. He lived with John Punchard who has since died. That's all I know I'm afraid. Glyn Jones
