Ancestry - how to get it renewed but cheaper? Discount code?

Hi,
I use ancestry global, it's due for renewal in two days.
I'm sure I read on here before that there are ways of getting it cheaper eg let it expire and then they send you offers? I can't find the original posts about it. Can anyone advise a way to get a discount off the full global cost?

Went through the motions of resubscription yesterday then changed my mind but I had an email in the night offering a full year half price (but only if I followed the email link) - so I’ve renewed and hope it gives me access to everything. Maybe you’ll get an email?

Ignore that, it was a UK premium membership which is really frustrating because although I’m keen to establish some recent British ancestry most of my research is US based.

I get annoyed for the exact opposite reason. So much of the unnecessary information I get is about people who lived in the US. It is of no relevance.
