Parish Records - Findmypast vs The Genealogist

I have a short subscription with findmypast and can see a marriage for 1823, however would be interested to see the brides fathers name? Would The Genealogist have this info? Am loathe to buy more subscriptions if its the same info as findmypast.

Failing that, would one go to the church the marriage took place?

That info would only be on a copy of the marriage certificate, so paying for other subscriptions won't help. You can order one from the GRO website. Email version is cheaper if you don't need it to prove anything legally.
