I use both Ancestry and Myheritage. I find myheritage better for Australian relatives, Ancestry for the other stuff. I keep my tree locally using the myheritage software synched to the website and upload a gedcom to Ancestry every few weeks. I also use a tool called FTAnalyzer to check the tree.
