Hit a dead end

Stuck at my great grandad. Nan can remember his dads name but only have a maiden name for his mum and can't find anything!
Any ideas welcome!

Your Great Grandads' birth cert will have his parents' names on, and should give you some clues to work on, like occupation etc.

You can search for it on ancestry.co.uk

I think I'm going to have to buy it as i can only find his mothers maiden name but not first name.
