Can anyone suggest any (preferably free or low cost) Irish bmd sites?
I have a LOT of Irish ancestry on the paternal side Grin

There's reasonable coverage on the familysearch site: www.familysearch.org/ from the front page you can either search for individuals or open up particular collections etc.

Irish records don't have BMD indexes like we do. Have you tried Findmypast Ireland? They have loads of records. Also you can see the Irish 1901 and 1911 censuses for free. I am not sure of the address but you can google it. Good luck!
