Can anyone help with a powerpoint question please. Powerpoint presentation with 10 slides. Each slide has a small amount of animation which is not a problem. As soon as sound is added the animation stops. I have fixed the problem before but cant remember how and I need it fixed for tomorrow. Can anyone help thanks.

Will ask DH.

What version of Powerpoint are you using?

Milliways · 18/05/2010 22:49

Mr Milliways says:

Insert a sound clip from a file eg an MP3.
That will add sound to the slide (picture of speaker appears)

Select "Play automatically" in the dialogue box presented.

You will see the sound clip in the animation pane on the Right. Drag this to the start of the animations for the slide you want.

Right Click "Sound Animation" from the animation list, select "effect options", select "stop playing" after "x" slides, so if you want it to continue to end of show/tune make "x" a large number.

This is for 2007 version, hope it makes sense?

PS, lots of other settings in the sound animation tab you can play with to better suit.

Going to bed now, so hope you get it sorted.

Hi Milliways thanks for helping. The version we are using is 2003 but I could use it on 2007. I will give it a go today.
