Anyone know when the next iPhone is being released?

My contract ends next month and I'd love an iPhone but not sure whether to wait to see if another model is due out? Anyone know when the next one is due?

Usually middle of July but announced a couple of weeks before. But yes, a new model is definitely coming v soon.

DH said this summer whatever that means!

Just heard the latest news that it should be released on June 7th. My DP is wetting his pants in anticipation.

7th June? That's great cos my current contract ends ay the end of June, yippeee

That's early. All the others have been July and Apple are creatures of habit if nothing else. Not disputing, just surprised and frantically saving!

Ah right, of course, conference is June, so yes, available mid July as usual then. (I'm a saddo Apple geek )

Last year's conference was 8th June (I think) and the new iPhone 3GS was in the shops on 19th June in the UK.

I am also waiting for this announcement, my iPhone 3G is out of contract in July and am hoping to get whatever the new generation will be. Mid July would be great timing!

We got the June date off t'internet, so it may be the conference date instead, who I am I to argue with a bons fide Apple geek?
