Any ideas as to what's going on here? I've got an iMac with bootcamp and have installed windows vista (which took forever cos it kept stalling right at the end)

however, it seemed to be working fine

for a day ...

now when I try to start up windows I get to the bootcamp screen with the mac and windows icons side by side - when I click on windows the whole thing freezes and I can only get out of it by switching it off

getting increasingly frustrated ... so any techy help would be v gratefully received - I'm not at all techy though so replies in English please

Try reinstalling, things don't stall for no reason, have you checked the condition of the disc to see if it's scratched or if the drive partition you put it on had any errors on it?

sorry - what do you mean by drive partition?

Windows Vista keeps Crashing - sounds situation normal to me

For checking your hard drive condition, google search says the you can use "Disk Utility" from the "Utilities" menu to test and repair any issues.

Have you got the option to use something other than Vista? (XP, 7)
