IPhone geeks help! home wireless has disappeared! help!

I had full wifi a couple of days ago.

Went into a cafe and used my phone, it asked me to join "bt fon" or "bt openzone" or something. I said "nope" and came off the wireless- I wanted to use the 3gs instead.

Switched off the wireless "join automatically" thing when I got back home, got so p'd off with the openzone thing.

Since then, wireless here at home is pants, and safari is very slow. Have switched on that "join automatically" thing again, rebooted iPhone and still no joy!

Any advice fellow iPhone geeks?

Have you got the little wireless symbol thing showing on your iphone or is it on 3G? Have you tried restarting your router? Turn it off and on again or press the reset button if there is one.

I had this happen to me a while ago, I had to reset my network settings and then discover the network again.

It's been fine since so maybe try that?

Hi, today I have full wireless, iPhone forgot passkey to my router somehow..
How can that happen?
Unless periodically you have to re input passwords etc?

Thank you for your replies, if it misbehaves again I will definately reset the router, remove wifi networks from iPhone and start again!!

Now....how to avoid bt fon/ openzone?

my iphone keeps forgetting my password - and its one that i havent chnaged and cant rem it so have to keep dashing into kitcehn where it is pinned on noticeboard

agree stay well clear from bt/openzone etc - i erased it from my wifi memory

shame i cant work out how to erase my address's in my email
