Guy Kewney RIP

Perhaps not that well known to MN users (given PCW - Personal Computer World - had a 97+% male readership) but computer / technology journalist Guy Kewney has passed away.

It's very sad. I knew him on CIX for years, and bumped into him both professionally and socially on occasion as well. I never did get the opportunity to tell him that his PCW columns back in the early 80s were a big part of me getting into IT.

Heheh- I remember the BBC interview with 'him' a few years back...

Ah, I missed this! How sad. I read loads of his stuff in my early days in engineering, he was brilliant.
