Hi - I thought it was my speakers but having listened on several different sets of headphones/speakers I have decided it is in fact the ipod. It is making a wierd sort of tinny percussion like sound, sort of a tapping or a clicking sound when playing back a song. Volume doesn't affect it. I have tried turning EQ off but no difference. Is it buggered?? I am gutted as we are just off travelling for six months and I wanted to take it with me! No time to get it repaired (if indeed repair is even possible...)
