o2 iPhone very poor signal - should I switch to Vodaphone?

Just bought my first iPhone and I love it. But the signal is bad, usually around 2 bars and constantly vanishing.

Have tried resetting, turning off 3G, etc.

I'm still in the first fortnight so should I swap over to Vodaphone? Would that make it better? And then, should I buy one of the Vodaphone signal boosters?

Thanks

Depends if the Vodaphone signal is any better in your area...

Try this www.sitefinder.ofcom.org.uk/ website.

It lets you search for where base stations are in your local area. If the vodaphone basestation is the same location as the o2 one, chances are you will have the same issues.

If vodaphone is closer to you, then you might get a better signal. It depends on the construction of your house. The office where I work is a metal frame with metallised windows, panels and almost no phone signal gets in of any provider.
