Do we have any comeback at all? In our town there is an independent phone shop and a CW. I refuse to deal with CW as they are tossers basically

So DH bought a new phone from the independent shop for it to be delivered today, branded "E2save" with Carphone Warehouse logos and stuff all over it - surely the local shop should have told him they are affiliated with CW when he bought it?

There is also an envelope containing his new sim card which states (in so many words) on the outside "if you put this sim card in the phone and use it, you agree that you don't have any comeback on distance selling regulations"

They have also sent him the wrong screen protectors and also charged a £5.99 admin fee, I am he is bloody cross, am I being unreasonable?

Is there anything I he can do?

Take it back if you're not happy. Is there a cooling off period?

well, he didn't order it "distance" style so that is nonsense. But it does sound like they nipped to CW for it

I think they are affiliated with carphone warehouse see here

I didn't realise they had shops though, thought they were an online only company.

My friend has had several phones/contracts from E2save and never had any problems.

I think the local phone shop has an affilite/franchise with E2save....
