two dumb iPhone questions

OK, I am a bit rubbish with this sort of thing. Can anyone help me with:

1. How can I increase the font size (or enlarge the picture or whatever it is) on a webpage (i.e. so I can READ mn on my iphone not just see it as teeny tiny text)? Sometimes I do it by accident but have no clue what I did!

2. Why won't my iPhone play things from my playlist that were downloaded from iTunes? It plays things that came off CD but not downloads (although it does list them all in the playlists). I have an iPod too - surely they aren't exclusive to that? (and if so, grrr)

OK I should have checked the apple site first . I now have the answer about zooming in on the webpage.

But I still can't work out why my phone won't play any of the downloaded tunes - the only thing I can find on the apple site is that it won't play things in formats not supported by the iphone - surely that can't apply to all my downloaded music?
