One certain website NOT showing in internet exploerer history???

There's a website I know my dh goes on and I occasionally have a quick look too... Yes, it's one of those sites.

Usually I would be able to tell when he'd bee on it as out history in internet explorer would have been deleted to hide the evidence (i've asked him to do this incase our ds accidenatlly came across it in history, although not very likey as he's only 2 but you never know).

Anyway, recently I went in to the history and noticed it hadn't been deleted for quite a while and thouhght that odd. I went on the site for a quick look a few days later and when I went to delete the history it wasn't in the history!!!

The rest of the websites show up fine but it's like he's set the site so it doesn't get recorded or something?

How do I check this? I've looked through all the settings I can think of in IE but can't see how this has been done.

Which version of Internet Explorer do you have?

Version 8 has a private browsing mode which won't record what sites are being looked at while it's enabled.

Also what happens if you begin to type the address into the address bar? Does it pop up?

Are you sure that he's using Internet Explorer? He might be using another browser for "that kind of thing" and therefore the history won't show in IE.

Hi, sorry about delay..

The thing is I, myself have gone to this site through IE and then closed the site and gone to history and it's not there!

I have not got any privacy thing enabled whilst I have visited it and all other sites show up just fine in the history.

It's like it's been set to not record that particular site and I can't work out how.

It doesn't come up in the address bar at the top if I start typing it. I would if it was in the history as it used to, that's how I came across the fact he visited it in the first place... He knows I know he goes on it and he knows I go on it iyswim.

I don't mind him going on it, it's just I like to manually delete it from the history to know i've done it properly and plus it's just annoyig me that it's not coming up in history... How can it be???!
