She wants a wii fit so that she can practise her golfing strokes and keep active even when the weather's too crap to go out. We want to also get her games to keep her mind active as she lives alone and has a few predisposing factors for dementia. Five of us are clubbing together to buy it.

What do I need to buy her? and does she need anything apart from a telly and a power supply?

golf on wii fit is nothin glike golf. It would probably ruin your golfing technique. Are you aware of this?

I know, and I abhor the whole concept of Wii "fit", but it's what she wants although she also said she didn't want anything at all, so I can't ask her what she wants or needs because she'll say "nothing". Bottom line is we want her to stay active and happy, and if the wii does that when she's at home, why not?

Get some kind of recharging unit as the remotes eat batteries. Also, get a silicone "skin" for the Wii fit board to protect it.
