should i switch from vista back to xp

people seem to be recommeding it. also the internet loses connection all the time, could this be connected to vista?

Rather than going back, I'd wait a bit & see how Windows 7 pans out & then upgrade if your computer's up to it.

My wife has Vista and has no complaints. It's a bit resource hungry, so XP may be better if you're machine isn't the latest and greatest.

Vista is unlikely to be the cause of your internet problems.

If you're mainly doing internet and email anyway Linux could be better still? Also with Linux it's not an either or thing, you can have Windows and Linux together on the machine.
