...and in the middle of 'Searching' by Luther Vandross the whole thing packed up. I have tried the hold down the menu and middle bit together with no luck.

Does anyone clever have any suggestions?

Don't suggest not putting it in my bra again

CybilLiberty · 24/09/2009 16:48

Get an ipod holder which attaches to your arm.

(no idea how to make it work again though)

This happened to my husband (Twice - do they ever learn) when he was jogging. He had it attached to his waist band. I think he did a web search or spoke to Apple or something, but basically found that it is a common problem when sweat gets in them
He had to get a new one.

erm i'd leaving it charging for a while, then see if it comes back to life it may just need a snooooooze that or you killed it ooooh an ipod killer!!

IdrisTheDragon · 24/09/2009 17:00

When I went running with my ipod in an arm holder it rained and rained. ipod went weird so I left it for a few days and also put it in some dry rice.

It was fine, but did take a few days.

Hope yours recovers soon.

cookielove · 24/09/2009 17:01

OrmIrian · 24/09/2009 17:02

has it got a reset button cybil? I don't have an ipod but I do have an mp3 and I often have to reset it.

CybilLiberty · 24/09/2009 20:06

It's telling you something you need to know about Luther.

foxinsocks · 24/09/2009 20:09

I'm glad you warned me about this. I normally tuck it in my pants

sometimes just leaving it for a day or so works

Themasterandmargaritas · 24/09/2009 20:16

I'm mightily impressed it didn't fall out. Mine would have taken a tumble after 200m.

My old one got wet, went weird, dried out after a couple of days and semi recovered.

OrmIrian · 27/09/2009 10:51

Did it recover?

CybilLiberty · 02/10/2009 18:52

Sorry Orm, just found your last post. No it bloody didn't recover hence I am not going for a run hence I will gain weight all because of my sweaty runners boobs.
