ie in the text, rather than tacked on at the end?
I want to link to the Amazon page of a book I'm reading.

thanks

I don't think you can, or at least not as a hyperlink. It's a bug feature.

Thanks Port.
My brother does it! I will have to email him.
Mind you his FB posts come via Twitter, so perhaps he's found a loophole.

Would like to know how it's done... if it is a Twitter loophole I may have to start tweeting myself.

You can just click on "Link" and it will do it as a link for you. It won't be on your status update but it will be there at the top of the "feed" and will be visible for your friends.

Yes, but sometimes you want it to be your status update (and, as Kathy says, not tagged onto the end as with a link).

UnquietDad · 04/09/2009 15:50

Sorry, I don't believe you can at the moment - I was trying to suggest a way round it! I think if you paste the text into your status box, it comes out as normal text, not a hyperlink.

Hmm, so I can't do it as elegantly as on MN then? Will see if my brother can give me any hints!
