How do I remove a FACEBOOK application from my profile?

I accepted a Friends for Life application and now I've decided I don't want it on my profile after all. Any way of removing it/

Just wondering?

On your home page in the bottom left hand corner there should be a tab called 'applications'. If you click on this it will show the application settings, mine shows the most commonly used initially but you can change this with the drop down bar next to 'show'.

When you've found the one you want to get rid of in the list, click on the x on the right of the application details. You should then have a pop up appear asking if you really want to remove it, click on yes to remove.

Thanks Squashedfrogs, I have found the applications bit and found that application, but I don't appear to have the x to click on.

I think I am being thick, I just clicked on the application and that just brings it up, so I closed it again.

Grrr. Will have another look.
