Where's the best place to buy a laptop?

Think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy a new laptop - can yyou recommend anwhere?

DP & I bought ours from eBay after a lot of research on both models and sellers

I bought mine from there and it's excellent- got a good price too!

We bought ours from www.misco.co.uk/. I couldn't say anything about the after sales service as I didn't need any.

Cheers! Anymore recommendations/warnings?

DO NOT buy from PC world, total nightmare.

Dell gave me no trouble, but some people have had issues with them i think.
