Shall I convert to the ways of Apple?

I need a new laptop, only really need to access t'interweb and use Office.

DP a long established Apple user reckons a second hand iBook is the way to go.

I'm torn between a new, cheap PC or a second hand iBook.
I'd like to spend under £350 if possible.

Any recommendations please?

Think is, how many people do you know who have had a Mac, and gone back to a PC?

Do it - esp if DH is already a user and can set you up. It's so much better (vonsudenfed household currently has more Macs than people in it...)
