Is there a way to see the history of sites visited even if it has been cleared?

If the history has been deleted is there a way to get it back? TIA

dp says do-able, but gnarly. prob not do-able yourself

Some people set their system to clear after 24/48/72 hours and so on automatically. For no sinister reason.

I always delete my histories. It's a shared PC and my darling offspring have absolutely no need to know where I play.

(They followed me last time I told them. )

If yo uare using Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools > Options.
The first tab called General should have a section called History and 'Days to Keep Pages in History'. If this just has 1 or 2 in it that's why.
