I've lost the contents of my inbox. It's on BTyahoo. Help!

Do you think there's any chance of recovering my e-mails?

I'm applying for jobs and need an application pack recovered. I'm sure I opened them as word documents.

I'll go and have a search but if you can help me find it, I'd really appreciate it.

if the inbox actually on yahoo is empty then the emails are gone for good.

If you saved documents which were attached to the emails then they are where you saved them on your computer (probably in My Documents).

If you opened documents which were attached to the emails without saving them first then they would have been copied into C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. They may still be there and a search (show hidden files) might find them, but they are deleted eventually.
