I Have deleted the video footage from DS 1st birthday from the SD card in my Panasonic SDR-7 video camera. Can anyone recommend a good recovery website as the ones I've tried are just so techy and complicated?
Thank you so much

www.softperfect.com/download/freeware/file_recovery.exe

This should do it though I don't have an SD card handy to test it on. I just tried it on a floppy to see and that seemed ok.

Download it, run it and select the SD card from the dropdown list.
Click search (or select file type you want to search for and then click search) and then if you can see the files in the list you can select them and restore them to a folder of your choosing on your hard drive.

It seems to be clean and safe.

Wow!! I never thought this was possible! So when you delete something is it not really deleted then - it's hiding somewhere?? That's handy to know, although I've never deleted something before... but theres always a first time! Katy100 - let me know how you get on - very excited now!!!

divedaisy, it only works if that bit hasn't been overwritten since.

Windows is constantly writing things to the hard drive so it doesn't always work there unless you do it right awsay, but an SD card should be ok until more photos are taken.
