Laptop is very poorly, nothing will open from the Start menu or task bar. Have tried re-booting several times but no joy.

Can anyone help, please?

What operating system?

whomovedmychocolate · 07/02/2009 22:52

Start with F7 pressed down to boot into safe mode. Depending on operating system you will need to roll it back to before you had the problem - so open Windows restore and go back say a week or so.

Its Windows Vista on a DELL Inspiron.
And I am completely technophobic!

Will try your suggestion.

Okay have looked into it a bit more (I'm a Mac person but I feel your pain!) It's a problem with your mail programme. Why not upgrade your programme to solve the problem.

It seems to have worked. You have NO idea how grateful I am. Thank you very, very much - clever Mac person.

Must go to bed now.
