ipod help screen gone black

ipod was playing up last night volume was moving when i wasnt touching it and other things now theres no colour at all i can just about see the screen under a bright light i can play some songs but volume is moving on its own again i have reset it on ipod and through itunes but its done nothing

please anyone ?

Sorry - read this earlier and didn't have a clue. Only thing I can think of is letting the battery run out/die and then seeing what happens when it's recharged.

i know im gutted i love my ipod been trying all day thanks anyway
