We want to be able to get home from work (7:30pmish), decide what film we want to watch, download it and then be able to watch it that evening.

Is this possible yet?
What's the best method to use?
Which website?

etc etc etc!

Have downloaded a few films but the quality is variable and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Just do a google search, different websites do downloads for different operating systems.

If you google search "movie streams", I think its the first site that comes up that we use. I've seen a few good films on it. The last one was "Bad Santa" which was hilarious.

(Until DS got out of bed without me realising and said behind me "what is Father Christmas doing to that woman??" - it was rather sexual )

But as NancysGarden says, the quality depends, as does the speed. I watched "Don't say a word" one night and it downloaded almost instantly. Bad Santa took hours to load up properly. I started watching it at 8.30pm and it didn't finish until 12.30am because of all the stopping and starting.
