how do I download and send dvd of ds's nativity play to my parents? from a mac

I have mac and they have pc which I think may confuse the matter.
I could of course send the actual dvd but would rather not.

...if iDVD won't do it, then Handbrake Lite (available free on interweb) definitely will.

Takes a while, though...

iDVD will convert it from iMovie, takes ages tho but you will be able to burn it to disc.

should I have idvd?

i see iphoto and imovie but I can't get the dvd to go into iphoto to then beable to transfer

Use Handbrake to get the file from the disc. It'll save it as an mp4 file. then use something like Sendspace to upload it and send them the link. You'll never be able to email something as big as a video file.

Sorry, should add that the link will let them download the file on their computer. They'll need Quicktime (which is also free) to view it but Quicktime is best anyway.
