can someone tell my what I need to do..new firefox won't let me do anything on facebook or googlemail

I had a look on firefox website but the FAQ are so technical.. I dont' want to wait until DH gets home - it always makes me feel so incompetant!

I've got Firefox 2.0.4 which updated this morning and I can get into Google mail. dont do Facebook so can;t check that.

Firefox 3.0.4, not 2.

have downloaded the 3.0.4 one and it is all shiney and new!

When I got into work and looked at facebook to see whether it was working, the comments I'd made had been posted even though the screen hadn't changed when I'd done it in Firefox.

I left the computer to re-boot when I went out but it's no better now.

We have 3 on the laptop - I'm goign to have to download it aren't I?

Why can't it look after itself??!
