ok come on, i came on here tonight to see if one of you clever mumsnetters could help me fix this problem.

the restore is the same place as the maximise button, it changes to restore when it isnt full screen, if that makes sense

Dragonbutter · 10/11/2008 23:49

that doesn't change it.

have you tried clicking view then selecting anything relevent there?

Dragonbutter · 10/11/2008 23:51

i clicked on view/full screen but all that happened was my toolbar disappeared.

Did the whole desktop get smaller or is it more that your windows are trapped in the center?

If restarting the computer doesn't fix it you might look in Control Panel, open Display and go on the Settings tab. That should show resolution which might have been changed I suppose with a combination of key presses

Dragonbutter · 10/11/2008 23:53

the whole desktop has gotten smaller.

ledodgy · 10/11/2008 23:54

Are you sure your eyes aren't getting bigger?

Plonker · 10/11/2008 23:57

Try right clicking on your desktop, go through properties, settings and then change your resolution ...

Dragonbutter · 10/11/2008 23:58

rofl.

OP posts:
Dragonbutter · 11/11/2008 00:01

yay, done it.
not sure what i pressed now, but something to do with screen resolution and also changing graphic options on the desktop to maintain ratio or something.

how the hell does an 18 month old baby change the screen resolution???
