Emails bouncing - message saying 'mailbox unavailable'

I'm trying to send an email to a hotmail account - I definitely have the correct address but the email keeps bouncing saying the mailbox was unavailable. Any ideas why this would be?

anyone?

maybe the mailbox at the other end is full.
