I uninstalled a Sony Ericsson thing for my old phone and since then my laptop has gone weird.

A warning comes up when it's first turned on to say no ATI driver is installed, the writing's gone big and my wireless won't work. I can only get online with a wire attached.

My brother knows about computers and is going to look at it for me but is there something i can do myself?

Are all the icons big too?

If so it sounds like your "screen resolution" has been changed.

Go to Display properties and fiddle with the resolution settings to adjust it.

that may not cure the underlying problem though.

Where do i find that then?

It sounds like you uninstalled the display drivers. Unless you did by accident it sounds like the Sony thing deleted files it should not have.

You should be able to go back to a restore point just before you uninstalled the Sony Ericsson thing.

Go to control Panel - system and there is a tab for restore.

Can't give more details because I don't use it myself (I have a different method)

Onager - You are a genius thank you

I have used that before but never even thought about it.
