Sky isnt working? anyone can help?

My sky plus was working fine last night but all of a sudden, it just stopped working, I use the remote to change channels but no response? can someone give me some advice or help?

What exactly do you mean by stopped working?

Generally though, like with computers, turning it off and leaving it off for about two minutes (at the wall) can solve a lot of problems....

switch it off at the wall and switch it back on again after 2 minutes. Ours occasionally does this, just needs resetting probably.

No, i was upstairs last night, the main was downstairs, I thought it was the remote so I didn't bother to check last night then when I tried watching telly, the main telly in the living room isn't working either? should i switch it on and off?
