Brain Training Game: How do you do Triangle Maths?

I didn't read the instructions properly the first time I tried this game - meaning, I now can't do it as I can't revisit the page where it tells you how to do it! And I can't work out how to do it for myself! (Very old brain age, you see...) Would someone be kind enough to explain? thank you...

Doesnt it tell you in the book that came with the game?

I remember struggling with this one - if I remember correctly:

Here is an example

7 5 4

O O
+
The answer is 21

so: you do the following two sums from the top line:
7+5 = 12
5+4 = 9

This means that the second line O O
would be:

12+9 = 21

So the answer is 21

It gets harder as they then stick in minus rather than add,....

Actually I got mine out and had a play today, and when you select a game, at the right hand side is a box which you can pick which gives you the rules for each game!!!
