I am top of the lsit on Google Maps......but not on google - can I change that?

My business needs to be higher on Google

Is there an easy/free way to do this

I am fairly unique childminder/village

Get yourself a blog, linked to your webpage
Get a facebook page (really)
Get a MSN and Yahoo page

Put links to your webpage on all of these.

'Ping' your website regularly to webcrawlers like Google and collating sites like Technorati

Post comments on related websites and blogs and trackback to your own site

Post links to your site with all reciprocal websites you can think of (eg other local businesses)

Generate some 'content' that makes people want to visit your site often - resources, blog news, reports etc...

The more clicks you get, the higher you will be on google...

With Google maps I just registered
