Why cant I download cd's onto my ipod tonight?

I have done this before but tonight its not working !! I don't get any response when I put the disc into the hard drive - can anyone help please?

You mean it's not accessing Gracenote?

have you tried the good ol' trick of unplugging everything, switch ipod off, re-starting the computer and setting it up again?
no clue why this works - must be something like the terrible twos, they forget why they had the strop when you go away and come back two minutes later...

btw, take cd our of drive too

mmm tried that. I wonder might have something to do with 2yr old jamming a pen into the hard drive!!
