Why won't my card reader work ??

My tower has a card reader slot on it and it has always worked fine.

I did move the computer about a month ago though, and this is the first time I have tried it since, but I put the card in and nothing happens.

No ideas really but only thing that comes to mind is are the drivers OK?

I have absolutly no idea tbh.

Can get my brother to check that tommorow though so thanks for the suggestion.

Is it the same card? If it's a new larger one than you were using before, some card readers have trouble with them.

If you go into My Computer or Windows Explorer, can you see the card there - it's normally shown with a drive letter - what the letter is depends how many other drives you have. If you can see it there, it may just be that the autorun function has been disabled.

Thanks Rusty, it isn't a new card no, have been using it for ages now.

Will try and check the things you have mentioned.

Meant to add that as well as moving the computer, I also changed to a wirels connection.

I suppose my brother might of accidentaly changed something when he was messing about.

I had a look in My Computer, but I can't see it I don't think.
