just browsing normally, only one window open, then i get to a page and it will say 140 pictures loading or something--WHY?

and how to rectify it, without restarting pc.

Like right now now pics are coming up um MN.

bloody stupid computer. ok its quite old, but normally has no probs loading relatively quickly.

any ideas???

mn loads a ton of graphics (a bunch of which don't appear to be needed on every page!).. ..most will be arriving from your cache if you've visited the page before..

the menu bars near the top of the page are all constructed from images.. ..or rather two lots of images (so they change colour when you roll your mouse over them...).

Sprites? CSS? Anyone?
