My laptop mouse-thingie isn't working properly....is it fixable?

It moves the mouse around but won't click - can it be fixed?

Do you mean the touchpad?

I would guess that it's broken, but it may just be a configuration or driver issue.

Are you on Vista, XP, Mac or Linux?

Oh. When you say it won't click, do you mean when you tap the pad or are you using separate buttons?

I turned it off and when I turned it on again....it worked
