Can someone help me with facebook?

I've succumbed and joined etc etc. But I now have emails with requests to become my friends and a request to join a group I administer. I've tried clicking the links in the emails but can't see on my profile or homepage where to accept the requests?

Friends:

Log on to Facebook. Over on the right-hand side of your home page you should have a section headed "Requests". Under here it should say something like "x friend requests". Click on that and it will take you to a list of friend requests with the option to confirm or ignore each one.

It's not there! Does it make a difference that I"m on a Mac?

Is the "Status Updates" section there? It's possible that you've already accepted the requests, I suppose -- what do you get under Friends -> Recently Added?

Yes I have status updates there but no they haven't been added to my friends (or allowed to join the group).

What do you see if you go directly to the Friend Requests page?
