how do you find the code to unlock a mobile phone? For free preferably

it is a sony erricson K610i which was a vodaphone phone

any ideas (for DS1 not me, his current phone has died, but only for O2 sim cards, and he is on O2)

ill ask dp when he gets in he works for vodaphone and should be able to do it for you but he will need some info off you from the phone! sim number or something!?

alternatively you can ring up vodafone if you can and ask for the unlocking code! so long as the phone is out of contract and not reported stolen they will give it to you

hi i am micci 25's dp if look on the box there is an imei number post that on here and i will get you unlock code tomorrow. p.s if the phone is ex payt phone it may not work but if it doesnt ill get you a telephone number to get it unlocked

there is no unlock code available, not sure why, maybe because its an old model phone? ill ask him when he gets in!

he has sent a request for an unlock code to be generated or something, but it will take 72 hours! sorry! ill let you know as soon as he gets one!

hi i am dp from vodafone and reason there is no code is coz some manufacturers take time to unlock them upto 16days in samsungs case. yours will be ready by friday
