I used to love my Amazon Fire Stick but they’ve locked things down so much it’s basically useless for what I want now. I want to be able to sideload apps and watch a wide range of TV shows like I used to.
Can anyone recommend something specific that makes this easy? I’ve seen people mention Nvidia Shield, various Android TV boxes and Google TV sticks but I’d love to hear from people who are actually using something day-to-day rather than just going off reviews.
Obviously I use a VPN.
I just want something that works and isn’t a faff to set up. TIA!
