Ai for productivity? Thoughts?

What do people think about using AI for home productivity and admin? I'm old school and like to use a notepad, but currently looking for an app that's just simple to use. There seems to be a raft of AI apps and I'm not sure I like it. I feel like I'm more in control and using AI apps just isn't good for my anxiety 🤦
Does anyone have any recommendations of simple apps that aren't too different from using a notepad but has notification reminders? I don't want family calenders ect, just a simple easy app for me to use.

I wouldn’t trust an ai with reminders and family things. What about google calendar for events and reminders? Why ai rather than a normal app?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. The AI was just a talking point. I'm not sure I like it for reminders ect... I think it's a good tool for some things but like I said I just wondered if anyone else feels the same? I'm also looking for a simple app where I can keep notes, use for home admin, and send me task reminders. Interested to know what people used, any recommendations?

I just use the notes app to write notes, the calendar for reminders which I sync with my work calendar, and I have a to do list app that sends reminders but I have really dropped off using it tbh.

Android user here, I use Keep notes, Tasks and Calendar.
Not really interested in adopting any AI features at the moment where I can avoid.

Thanks for the recs, I think I'll take a look at those apps. For some reason I just don't like Google calender, but definitely take a look at keep note. The AI thing definitely doesn't sit right with me with regards to assisting with home admin and organization. I prefer to feel more in control. There's so much to keep track of these days, work, kids, house, car stuff, it's a flippin' nightmare 😩🤣

Just an update in case anyone else was looking for the same sort of thing — I ended up finding an app called Tiderly a few weeks ago and it’s actually pretty close to what I wanted.
It’s not AI-driven or “life coach” style which I liked 😂 just somewhere to keep reminders, notes and home admin bits without feeling overwhelmed by loads of features.
I still use a notepad for loads of things but it’s been handy for car reminders, birthdays and random life admin stuff I normally forget about.
