Can I search the Cached versions of websites on my PC?

I was on a website a few days ago with some info I wanted.

Now that info on that webpage is gone.

Can I get it back from a cached copy somehow?
Will it work cos I have been back to teh site I want (i.e. will be cache be over-written with new version)?

The cache will have been overwritten with the new version, so you can't get it back that way.
