unzipping files

Please ...is there anyone who can tell/show me how to unzip a file (download of a font) on a MacBook Air.
Google tells me to double click, but that doesn't work.
AI tells me to CONTROL/click that doesn't work
I would really appreciate some help, thanks

Not sure about Macs so this might not help at all, but I save the file on my c: then right click and select unzip using 7-Zip software.

Google is correct, you double click a zip archive file to uncompressed it on Mac OS.

If this isn't working can you give me your steps including the file name and extension. And if your able to share the link from where you obtained the file.
