How to set times for internet switch off?

I know there HAS to be a way!

All I want is the ability to turn off mine and the kids devices between say 10pm and 7am on school days. I’m just as bad as them and I’ll doomscroll on my tablet and lose track of time so want to start being healthier overall too.

I’ve gone into our router settings (virgin media provided) and there isn’t an option. The virgin media app only has the option to manually pause every single device yourself, and quite honestly I’d like for something to just do it for me and for the internet to just be off to set devices.
My friend recommended a Google app, but I can’t seem to get that working on the Apple devices that we all have.

i can’t just turn the router off as we have a Hive system that controls the heating, plugs and lights.

Is anyone able to offer any guidance please?

Put your devices in a basket in the kitchen over night?

I have BT and you can’t do this on the app but you can if you log into your account on a desktop.

Ask ChatGPT?

You can could create a guest network, and manually turn it off at night. (and put the lights, Hive TV etc on the primary)

Alternatively you could use a third party router that either supports scheduling the availability of a network, or individual quotas for each user. (E.G. Synology)
