I-Pod Shuffle - Pleaaaaaaaaase help me!!

DH bought me one for work. Sadly he loaded it from his music collection - he is a lovely man and I adore him but his taste in music sucks. I have a selection of stuff from my old mp3 player which I saved in 'My Music' and I have also taken stuff off my CDs which I have saved in my I-pod Library.
BUT I can't get any of it onto the bloody I-Pod (and I'm not convinced I've removed his $hite either). Been on the apple help page. All it says it to select stuff from the 'Source' Pane. Where in hells name is the Source Pane.
Talk to me slloooowly like you would a small child

I created a new folder with all the stuff I wanted then copied it onto my plugged in ipod.

OK currently managing to put the library songs on. Had to use the old take it out and plug it back in again method will try copying music files next. Have created folder. fingers crossed....

phew done. I had to disconnect as it didn't acknowledge the presence of my i-pod After that was v simple really!!! Much easier to import when you have a destination I find!!!

Not as glad as I am. If I would have had to listen to "Snoopydog-P-Puff-BigMan-GanstaInnit" once more I think my head may have exploded!!
